Who we are
Growthcraft is a trading name of KJBSV Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 15785037). KJBSV Limited is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, or want to exercise your rights, email info@growthcraft.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- When you use our contact form. Your name, email address, company (optional) and message. We use these to reply to your enquiry and, if you want, to discuss working together. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- When you send us client feedback. If you've worked with us and use our client feedback form, we collect your name, email address, role, company, your testimonial and how you'd like it published. We only publish it in the way you choose (with your name, with your role and company only, or not at all), and we keep your submission as the record of your permission. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us, and we'll remove the testimonial.
- When you email us or message us on WhatsApp. Whatever you choose to send, used to reply and manage our conversation. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy.
- When you browse the site. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location (worked out from your IP address), device and browser type, and clicks on our email and WhatsApp contact links. This uses cookies (see below), so it only runs if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- When you use our free diagnostics. The Growth Leak Diagnostic, CX Maturity Assessment and AI Readiness Assessment run entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or stored, unless you choose to email us your results. For the Growth Leak Diagnostic, Google Analytics records anonymous usage, such as when it is started and which result type it returns.
- When any page loads. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the site and keep it secure. Your browser also requests our fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to serve them.
- If we work together. We process business contact details for you and your colleagues to run the engagement. Personal information inside client projects is covered by the terms of our client agreements.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers who process personal information on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Resend — delivering contact form messages to our inbox.
- Google — email (Google Workspace), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Fonts.
- Meta (WhatsApp) — only if you message us on WhatsApp.
We may also share information with professional advisers, or where the law requires us to.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, for certified providers) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to two years after our last contact, unless we start working together.
- Client records: for the length of the engagement, and up to six years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.
- Analytics data: no longer than 14 months in Google Analytics.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to tell visits apart and measure how the site is used. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager only load if you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Reject, or make no choice, they don't load and no Google Analytics cookies are set. We don't use advertising cookies.
You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings, which is also at the bottom of every page. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage (a setting named gc_consent), so we don't need to ask on every visit.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure page speed. These don't use cookies or identify you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it (including for direct marketing);
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
Email info@growthcraft.co.uk to make a request. We'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
Children
Our services are for businesses, and this site isn't aimed at children.
